President Trump-backed World Liberty Monetary is saying plans to launch a brand new stablecoin on Tuesday that will be geared toward bridging conventional finance with digital property.
In accordance with a press launch, the brand new stablecoin is named USD1, which shall be pegged to the US greenback and backed by short-term authorities treasuries, greenback deposits and money equivalents.
Says World Liberty Monetary co-founder Zach Witkoff,
